Graduates can reserve photos at KMUTT on the mezzanine floor of King Mongkut Memorial Building 190th Anniversary. On the major rehearsal day and ceremony day, photo reservations are available at the relatives’ reception area on the 1st floor, Ratchanawikasapha Building. Online reservations are available at www.newsalon1999.com/?k=kmit. For details, visit the photo reservation page. Cash payment is available on the group photo day at the university and on the major rehearsal and ceremony days at the Royal Thai Navy venue.
All graduates of Academic Year 2025 must complete graduate registration and pay the 1,500 THB fee. This covers graduate registration and official academic documents. The university does not charge any additional fee for attending the Commencement Ceremony.
If you have completed graduate registration but do not wish to attend the ceremony, you do not need to inform the university. You can receive your degree certificate approximately two weeks after the ceremony. Please follow announcements on grad.kmutt.ac.th.
Graduates are encouraged to use public transportation, such as MRT Itsaraphap Station, which is about a 15-minute walk, or MRT Sanam Chai Station with a ferry transfer from Tha Tien to Wat Arun. The university provides shuttle boat service for graduates from ICONSIAM to the Royal Thai Navy Convention Hall. Parking at ICONSIAM is available from 05:00 with 12 hours of free parking. Please check the boat schedule again before travelling.
Graduates who miss any rehearsal without approved leave, whether once or every time, will lose the right to attend the Commencement Ceremony without exception.

Graduates who rent or order academic gowns usually receive the gown pin with the gown. Male graduates receive shirt buttons and collar pins with the Raj pattern suit. Female graduates use the university chest pin and university metal buttons. If any item is lost, it can be purchased at the KMUTT Book Center.
Yes. On every rehearsal day for the Commencement Ceremony, male graduates with military or police rank, or acting sub-lieutenant rank or higher, must bring swords and gloves for rehearsal every time.
Hair must be natural black. Hair dye, spray, highlights, wigs, and all types of artificial hair are not allowed. Hairstyles must be neat, not untidy, and must not cover the left side of the face. Male graduates’ hair must not be longer than the gown collar. Female graduates who need hair ties or hair clips must use plain black items only.
Muslim female graduates must use the hijab color specified by the university or institution. For KMUTT, the required hijab color is white.
No. Watches and all accessories are not allowed.
Graduates must wear a plain black leather belt with no pattern.
Female graduates must wear full-length, skin-tone stockings with no pattern.
Yes, but black tape must be applied to secure the shoelace ends to the shoes to prevent loose laces and tripping. For convenience, shoes without laces are recommended.
There is no strict limit, but heels no higher than 2 inches are recommended for foot and ankle safety. Graduates will walk and stand for a long time on ceremony day. Stiletto heels are not recommended because they make balancing difficult and increase the risk of tripping on carpet.
Yes. Please contact New Salon 1999 Co., Ltd. at 0-2223-2276. The shop keeps photo files for 10 years.
Prohibited items must not be carried into the ceremony hall. If any item is collected during inspection, please contact the graduate management staff after the Commencement Ceremony.
If you suddenly become ill during the Commencement Ceremony, inform the nearest committee member or staff member immediately.

For the minor rehearsal, graduates must dress formally. Male graduates should wear a shirt, formal trousers in an appropriate color, no jeans, closed-toe shoes, and an academic gown. Female graduates should wear a collared shirt, a knee-covering skirt, no trousers, an appropriate color, closed-toe shoes, and an academic gown. For the major rehearsal, graduates should dress formally in the same way and wear an academic gown. It is recommended to wear the same shoes planned for ceremony day to become comfortable walking in them.
